I spoke with Judy yesterday, my oldest friend in San Diego, about my desire to continue traveling and connecting people and projects. I've had this ongoing conversation with other friends in San Diego and also in Berlin, Cologne and New York City. Several friends have suggested that I focus on enhancing my blog to stimulate ideas, share resources and support and develop new work.

This is a process of gathering information, ideas and projects that I find stimulating to and hope that it opens a conversation with you. My sisters and I surprised our parents with a 50th wedding anniversary party. It was a beautiful evening with family, food and music.We celebrated our parents love for tango and boleros with the sensational latin jazz guitarist Jaime Valle and the lovely vocalist Coral MacFarland Thuet.

The highlight of the evening was the surprise performance of the song "Harmony" by Coral and Jaime. The text of the song was written by my father and set to music by the amazing and wonderful Graciela Carriquí!
